The Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the technical direction and implementation of complex software solutions. This position offers the chance to shape the architecture, mentor team members, and drive the development of innovative features.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead the technical direction and implementation of complex software solutions

·         Mentor team members and ensure code quality

·         Explore new technologies and improve development processes

·         Balance technical leadership with hands-on coding

·         Collaborate closely within the agile development team

Required Skills and Experience:

·         Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in web and software development

·         Deep expertise in PHP (Symfony), TypeScript, and SQL

·         Strong leadership skills and experience in technical planning and decision-making

·         Solid understanding of development standards and code quality

·         Very good English proficiency, both written and spoken

·         Experience with Agile development methodologies

Highly Desired:

·         Experience working with German startups or small to medium-sized German companies

·         Knowledge of the German language (not required but advantageous)

What is Expected During the First Year:

Work Environment:

·         Small, efficient team with daily standups and weekly sprint reviews

·         Interview with the client`s partner

·         Interview with the client and likely a technical interview with the development team.

·         Technical task: 2-4 hours, one-week deadline for completion

·         Final interview with company leadership

·         The position is on a contractual basis (PE contract)
