Our client is a growing tech startup based in Germany, developing innovative web-based solutions. Specializing in eCommerce for the entertainment and events industry, they focus on providing cutting-edge software for independent ticket sales for concerts, festivals, sports events, and more. With a small, dedicated team of 5-7 developers and testers, they're poised for significant growth and impact in their sector.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's web applications through comprehensive test automation. This position offers the chance to shape testing strategies and contribute significantly to product development.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with solid experience in test automation
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and web technologies (HTML, CSS)
• Experience in defining and implementing test environments and automation strategies
• Very good English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
  
  Highly Desired:

• Experience working with German startups or small to medium-sized German companies
• Familiarity with the German language (not required but advantageous)
  

Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, execute, document, and monitor automated components and regression tests based on requirements
• Collaborate closely with the agile development team, providing early feedback on developed features
• Continuously improve testing processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
• Document, analyze, and evaluate test results
